Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JLNMC), Bhagalpur, formerly known as Bhagalpur Medical College, is a premier government medical institution established in 1971 by the Government of Bihar. Spread across a vast 209-acre campus in Bhagalpur, Bihar, it is affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college offers 120 MBBS seats annually along with MD and MS postgraduate programs in 13 disciplines. It is supported by an 800-bedded multispecialty teaching hospital (JLNMCH), located in Mayaganj, which caters to over 25,000–33,000 outpatients monthly.
